As our Delhi completes a century,
there is no hurry
there is no worry

We celebrated the occasion with sweets and curry!!!

Our Delhi is 100 years old
People have become  bold
there were many stories told.
Luck struck many,
they turned everything into gold.

From Chandni Chowk to Cannnought place,
from Red Fort to India Gate
From Appu Ghar to Multiplexes
Delhi has entertained everyone.

Those who entered never turned away,
not even when their hairs turned grey.

From thousands to millions,

piling too many civilians
its still going strong
Delhi is for lifelong.

Loneliness

I moved on and she left,
thoughts got dispersed but her memories are still kept.

She wrote several pages,
opened her heart in stages.

This world has kept us away for so long,
But our heart still beats,
we are still strong.

We think of each other,
how can we be wrong?

The stones you see are from the shattered wall,
don't ever complain,
you are niether a "Doll"?

The emptiness is just few steps away,
Season's have passed, winter to "fall".

A small town girl

A small town girl has eloped into a big world,
Glamour stuck in her mind,

No feelings, no emotions,
she was all lost in oceans.

From courteous to rough,
she has become very tough.

Lost her family and well wishers with time,
she could only find her tears besides.
Destiny has turned her upside down,
She has to fight all alone against the tides.

No where to return,
she stuck on her path,
Change was written all over her face,
Money and glory all she could chase,
with her pace.
struggling to find solace,
she lost this race.

Mirage.

Going deep down the memory lanes,
I have moved from mountain to planes.

Without her,
my mind has gone insane,
Heart has stopped beating,
so dead is my brain.

Its all dried up,
couldn't see any rain.

How far .....is she??
impossible to catch her on a train.
I have to cross many oceans,
have to pass many lanes.

She is like a mirage,
appears one moment and disappear forever.

Pictures,home..memories .. all perish with time!

Couples were happy in their home,
They left in desperation to see Rome.

Their pictures on the wall,
once signified togetherness
now present bitterness.

Both lived in pain
after leaving their home,
which protected them in summer and rain.

The people who moved in
removed the pictures pasted on the wall,
erased their memories once for all.

Couple moved from forest to forest,
their relationship once considered as love,
now represents a scar.
They are now separated
and are too far.

Home is what kept them closer,
now is just a dream for them,
they cant even move,
forget about flying on feather.
