At his party...

There you came like a swirl of wind,
a fresh air flown into my dead mind.

I was sitting , you kept standing.
Finally you managed to hold a seat two steps too far,
It appeared the two worlds collided,
And the two between us could never tear us apart.

Your sweet voice was like a music to my ears,
All my worries washed away and so were my fears.

You stood up to see his gift,
I hoped you would come to me to ask for a lift.

You opened the bag, removed its tag,
Looked so closely for a snag.

You never looked at me,
and avoided every glare of me,
Even your shade never came close to me.

You brisked away we just had a start,
it again created a vaccuum in my lonely heart.
